...Don't just look at Tower Bridge - go inside it. The Tower Bridge visit is one of the most enjoyable things I have ever done in London and suitable for the whole family. The exhibition explains why and how the bridge was built and you get to see how it works. An added bonus is that you get to use the walkway between the two towers which was originally bult for pedestrians but was hardly used. The tour takes you up one of the towers and down the other, and is "introduced" by talking models in a brilliant display. At the end of the tour, you can visit a display which eplains the scientific principles behind the operation of the bridge - kids get to play with a variety of hands-on stuff. Advantages: Special effects amazing
Disadvantages: not only have they left stuff out of the book, but added stuff!!!

Advantages: timeless comedy
Disadvantages: they only made a few shows

...Fawlty Towers is one of the all time classics, it is timeless and will always be a comedy. The series revolves around Basil Fawlty, his wife Sybil, the maid/waitress Polly and the Spanish waiter Manwell. Basil and Sybil own a hotel in Torquay and i'm suprised they ever have any customers. There are various characters who are perminant quests at the hotel; major and the two sisters. But the genius of the series comes from the fact that yuo never really know what is going to happen, each episode is unique and you'll want to watch it over and over again! The series was written by John Cleese and Conney Booth who played Basil and Polly and were married in real life. No matter what your age or time era Fawlty Towers will always raise a simle from even the most stern of people. I'm glad that the BBC are repeating it!... Read review

Advantages: Superb cinematic experience.
Disadvantages: Complex storyline and noisy battle scenes.

...Part two of the Lord of the Rings trilogy maintains the high standards set in part one : The Fellowship of the Ring. The Two Towers, continues Frodo and his companions journey to Mount Mordor but in this part there are a number of battles experienced on the way which allow Peter Jackson the Director, to display his wonderful sensitivity for the story and give rein to some of the most incredible computerised battle scenes ever seen. The culmination is the defence of Helms Deep by Aragorn, his companions and at first very few defenders, against tens of thousands of Orcs. This part alone is worth the entrance fee. Two Towers also sees the introduction of Gollum, a masterpiece of characterisation using computerisation to a level where you can almost believe the creature is real. Advantages: great views, family friendly, good value for money

...flights of stairs to viewing decks two and three (the crows nest); this one is great because it's open to the elements and it's not until you step outside that you get the real idea of how high up you actually are - be careful though it's very windy. You can stay at the top for as long as you want and when you're ready to come back down to ground level again you simply take the express lift, which leads you conveniently to the souvenir shop. I really enjoyed visiting the spinnaker tower, on a sunny and clear day it's amazing. The only negative aspects of the tower that I saw when visiting were that a café at the top instead of the bottom would be better. This would enable you to admire the views whilst having a bite to eat and something to drink; however this would probably men re-designing the tower. Also, you can get an individual or group...
