General comments.
I'm a fan of Whirlpool products and this is no exception. We paid £156-00 (excluding delivery) from Sainsbury's.
It arrived well packaged, and after letting it settle after transport and turing it on, it was quickly at a nice cool temperature.
It has Auto Defrost facility (as you would expect with most fridges today) but one nice little touch is the lips on the glass shelves. It means...

The best fridge freezer in the price range
Review of Whirlpool ARC7470 by
maggie141414
Advantages: Frost free, energy efficient, brilliant value for the price.
Disadvantages: I can find no disadvantages with my fridge freezer.
...I am a Whirlpool fan and they have never disappointed me with any of their products and this fridge freezer is my latest in a long line of appliances I have bought over the past 15 years. It is one of the new A energy efficient fridge freezers and offers a frost free totally maintance free appliance. It is pleasing to the eye and the pocket.
The freezer offers three drawers with plenty of space and has clear fronts to them so you can see instanly what is in them.
The fridge is brilliantly thought out with a four bottle wine race and clear glass shelves that are both attractive and practical and very easy to keep clean.
There are two drawers for salad and vegetables also with clear fronts to match the shelves and the freezer drawers. The door is also a brilliant feature with lots of storeage space and an enclosed dairy area.

My new ARChangel
Review of Whirlpool ARC 7453 by
666Nemesis666
Advantages: Clean, efficient, long-lasting, environmentally friendly, A efficiency rating.
Disadvantages: Limited choice of finishes, very sharp edged design.
...The Whirlpool ARC 7453 is to say the least another extremely impressive piece of equipment from Whirlpool. This fridge freezer is a rated 'A' for energy (the best energy rating available) and has a 350.4 kWh/yr energy efficiency - which is guaranteed to cut down on your energy bills. Whirling around
Review of Whirlpool ARC0820 by
imabigbiggirl
Advantages: Good price
Disadvantages: Looks plain
...I bought this fridge around a year ago after the old Panasonic packed up after many years of faithful service.
The Whirlpool fridge I bought from Currys because it was cheap and just a fridge with no fancy easy to use (easy to break) extras. Four days later and I had welcomed the fridge into my kitchen and by the next day it was cool enough to use. Soon it was full of the usual, salad, drinks, meat etc.
The fridge was quite noisy the first day but I thought it was normal and nothing to worry about. The next day it was the same shuddering slightly and making a distinguishable whirring. Other than that I cannot fault it, it is very easy to use once you get used to bending down to use a fridge. It is easy to clean and doesn't ice up. It will hold enough food and drinks to last you 2 weeks withought going shopping again and I think its...

THE BIG CHILL!
Review of Whirlpool ARC5551 by
matthewsmum
Advantages: Large storage capacity; very reliable
Disadvantages: You need to use a little pressure to close the doors
..., confiscated my credit card and completed three laps of the garden searching for the hot tub he thought I had bought, we trekked off to Currys to check it out.
*** DESCRIPTION ***
The Whirlpool ARC5551 is a biggy! Standing at 186cm high, with a depth of 69cm and a width of 60cm, I originally wondered whether it may be a bit of overkill for my little family of three, but it has proved to be money well spent.
Fridge Compartment
The fridge compartment is extremely spacious. It comprises 4 shelves, made of highly resistant hardened glass and 1 stainless steel bottle rack. This will accommodate four bottles of whatever you fancy, whether it be litre bottles of Diet Coke or a bottle or two of Chardonnay. You can arrange the shelves at heights and positions to suit your personal preference. At the bottom of the fridge are two...

It's freezing cold here
Review of Whirlpool ARC 2223 by
glitter-fairy
Advantages: good storage
Disadvantages: only comes in the one colour- white
...in the communal hallway, so straight away I want a fridge with a small freezer on top to keep in a few essentials- that means I don't have to go out into the hallway each time I want something out the freezer.
So we go and have a look around comet but nothing takes my fancy and we make our way to currys and as soon as I saw the Whirlpool ARC2223 fridge freezer I knew that it was perfect for us. It is 540mm wide so would fit into the space in our kitchen perfectly and has 4 shelves with a small freezer on top. The height of the fridge freezer is 1440mm, so not too high and I keep kitchen rolls and a couple of saucepans on top as we have no storage space.
WHIRLPOOL ARC2223
Ok, so i've told you the height and width of the fridge freezer, here are a few more details about it. The depth of the fridge freezer is 600mm and it is white in colour...

My fridge
Review of Whirlpool ARC 7472/AL by
HappySmileyPerson
Advantages: Well designed and very functional
Disadvantages: temperature dials easily knocked
...to 93 litres freezing space didn't make the fridge top heavy as many makers seemed to. The freezer compartment suits me being at the bottom, making the height of day to day access easier and less tiresome.
The shelves in the fridge are rather easy to clean, and I like the clean lines of the interior, with transparency that allows a user to see at a glance what is in the fridge. Door shelves are nice and deep although a little irritating to clean, though what I do like is the availability of door shelves where things do not fall out, and Whirlpool seem to have addressed this problem nicely with the depth of door shelving.
The glass shelves have a spill guard which is extremely handy since accidents do happen. I also like the area that the makers have provided to keep salad stocks fresh. These are larger than the average fridge chill...

The Eiffel Tower isn't the only landmark in Paris
Review of Arc de Triomphe by
StereoMike1983
Advantages: Spectacular monument in central Paris
Disadvantages: None
...Situated at the end of the Champs Elysées sits the Arc de Triomphe, a wonderful archway built to commemorate Napoleon's Grand Armée.
I had visited Paris on several occasions in the past and, despite having visited the Arc before, my trip in September was the first time that I had been to the top of this marvellous structure. For just 8€, or 6.20€ for under 25's, you can climb to the top of this 50m high structure to get some impressive views across the city. You can see down the Champs Elysées to the Place de Concorde and Le Louvre, across the rooftops to the Eiffel Tower that sticks out from a sea of white or up towards the Grande Arche.
The arc is situated in the centre of a roundabout from which 12 roads feed onto it making it probably one of the world's most dangerous stretches of road. To make it to the centre safely use...

Whirlpool Gas Range
Review of Whirlpool Gas Range by
sweetfire_01
Advantages: Push button...compared to dials
Disadvantages: Whirlpool maintenance men could take a while to fix it
...I actually recieved my Whirlpool Gas Range as an early Christmas gift last year. My soon to be father in law and I had went and looked at Gas Ranges the previous day (Keeping in mind...I didn't know he was going to buy one for me...and of coarse I pointed out almost the most expensive one they had!). Well he must not have minded because I woke up the next morning and the guys were taking it out of their truck and into my home! I have wanted a brand new Whirpool with the push buttons (instead of the old dials) for about two years now! I finally have one.
Let me start off with some of the features which all Whirlpool Gas Range's have.
1)Oven vents - This is where the hot air and moisture escape from while you are using the oven.
2)Surface burners - These are what you put your pans on to cook the food (flat pans are recommended).
3...
