...My husband and I spent two nights in The Palms in Wilderness in February and we can say without hesitation that this truly is a gem in the Garden Route. Where Wilderness itself is a little unspectacular (An opinion which is possibly tainted somewhat by the grey and rainy weather) - It does sit in a perfect position to take your pick from a plethora of outing possibilities. Your only problem may be that there is so much to choose from. The Palms itself is in no way unspectacular. It is truly a little oasis… Nestled in lush gardens the rooms are secluded and private and finished with a combination of cool African chic and attention to detail which begs the question as to how a fifth star is missing from their official ratings. ...I like Avon Wilderness for Men Shower Gel. Well, if I didn't like it, I wouldn't buy it, would I?! I Had some Avon Wilderness for Men some time ago, when the Avon Wilderness for Men range had just been brought out. A few weeks before Christmas we had a visit form a new Avon lady who had just started up in our new housing estate. A modern housing estate full of young professional couples? Ideal pickings for a new Avon lady, I would have thought? And so, nearly £30.00 later, it proved! (And I bought my stuff at special offer prices! ...what id expect of Ryan Reynolds. Its also a nice love story, you can see all the way through how they both feel about it but they just cant see it themselves. Its hilarious when the film shows you him in high school. Definately a must see movie if you like your chick flick comedy. ...Van Wilder loves college. He loves it so much, that he has been going there for seven years. He is "the man" on campus, all the guys want to be him, and all the girls just want him! It's not about the learning, it's about the socialising. He even has a personal assistant to help co-ordinate his activities. Then his father, finally realising that his son is yet to graduate, decides to cut off his college tuition fees. But Van is an enterprising dude and decides to pay his own way through college by becoming a party planner. Advantages: Brilliant script writing that keeps the film flowing.

There is however a small inconsistency in the film, in a scene where Taj is trying to woo a lady, he says the track on the radio is 'The white Barry', referring to Barry white, the song is in fact "Stumblin' In" by Suzi Quatro and Chris Norman, I presume they couldn't get the rights. The DVD has a few good extras like deleted scenes, outtakes, Burly Bear TV specials, a Comedy Central: Reel Comedy TV special, a "Bouncing Off the Walls" music video performed by Sugarcult and other promotional material like television ads and poster art. Verdict - Comedy Genius are the only words to describe it, I would recommended the film to teenagers or adults, some of the jokes and scenes are in my opinion too suggestive for younger children, although there aren't any 'full sex' scenes. ...My husband and I watch this film on a pretty regular basis as it is always guaranteed to make us laugh. 'Van Wilder: Party Liaison' is from the makers of National Lampoon. It's the hilarious story of a college student called Van Wilder [played by Ryan Reynolds] who seems intent upon remaning a student forever. He's been at Coolidge College for 7 years so far and why should anything change? He's having a whale of a time and is most definitely the big man on campus. Van even he has his own personal assistant, Taj [Kal Penn], to help organise his activities [none of which seem to involve going to class].
