...Woburn is a traditional safari Park. It is based in Bedfordshire in the Woburn Estate, which also includes the Abbey, sculpture gallary, deer park, golf course and village. It has a large selection of animals, most of which are seen through car windows as you drive round. This can be a frustrating experience on very busy days, and the actual drive round time can vary from about and hour (well you can do it in less if you want to leave out some areas) to about 3 hours when it is really busy. Most animals are easy to see, in habitat appropriate (or as far as can be provided in this country) areas and are very used to these strange travelling machine. There are some signs around the park telling you about the animal, but if you really want to know I would recommend getting the guide book on your way in (a further £3.50 I believe... Read review

...Woburn Safari Park is in a small village in Bedfordshire just off the M1. It's really well signposted and very easy to get too.. Woburn safari park has been there since the 1970's as is dedicated to the conservation of many endangered animals. Me and my husband took my sisters two boys, we had already taken them to most of the zoos in England and was looking for somewhere different to take them this time, i searched in Google and Woburn Safari Park came up which sounded like a great day out, it has a massive website with loads of useful information.. We live near Peterborough so it only took us approx 30 to 40 minuites to get there. We paid £13.50 for our two tickets and approx £8 for the kids which i thought was a little on the expensive side at first but we had a good 5+ hours there and had such a fantastic day i now think its... ...A couple of weeks ago we decided to take the children to Woburn Safari Park. We like to visit zoos occasionally and all young children enjoy seeing animals. We were looking for a safari park in particular though because we thought the ‘drive through’ would be more exciting and less tiring for our 3 offspring. Woburn Safari Park is in Bedfordshire just off junction 13 of the M1. It’s quite well signposted although we did drive around aimlessly for a while trying to find the entrance! Woburn has been a safari park since the 1970’s although animals have been kept on the estate since the early 19th century. Today Woburn Safari Park is dedicated to the conservation of endangered species and their habitats as well as educating people about these species.
