When released in 1964 the song sold more records in its first ten days in release than any other single in history. The lyrics tell how the singer watches a pretty woman walk by him. He yearns for her, and wonders if this beautiful woman is as lonely like he is. The song is best known from the film Pretty Woman starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts as a rich man that falls in love with a prositute. The film had to license the song from Orbison, but since titles cannot be copyrighted, Orbison has had no claim on the title of the film. ...I find the woman in this advert really annoying and over the top. The woman's washing machine has broken/not working properly and so she calls the repair man. He fiddles around at the back of the machine, and pulls out the heating element that is completely furred up with limescale. The woman looks horrified, and the repair man then pulls out a box of calgon and tells her to use this product. The advert then skips on a while and the woman who presumably has been using Calgon for a while, shows a sparkling brand new looking element. I have to say that partly due to this advert, I have been using a water softener (but not Calgon as it is too expensive compared to other makes). This advert also has a really annoying jingle. One good thing about this product, it is available in tablet, powder and liquid form.... Read review

...The Jean Paul Gaultier perfume is absolutely delicious to smell and to wear. It is a warm scent that penetrates your body from the first spray. The scent certainly lasts for a long time and one squirt goes a long way making this excellent value for money. Its heady musky notes give it a sensuos and sexy feel that is unbeatable. The packaging is attractive and will certainly look stylish adorned on any womans dressing table.
