Don't be fooled by the pictures of the Temple Bar loft apartment, I stayed 22/02/08 to 25/02/08. This place is a disgrace. Almost 900 Euro for 3 nights in such a run down dump is a complete rip off. Boiler was leaking and tripping off continuously. We reported this but no one came to fix it so had to put up with the shower running hot and cold. All walls are badly stained, probably water leak stains. The kitchen has been badly fitted and in need ... ...windows and curtains and all electric sockets are about to fall off of the walls. No batteries in any remote control and the speakers for the stereo were stained and disgusting. This place has never been cleaned. However the bed linen did appear clean. Do not stay here, its filthy and should be closed until it has been fully refurbished. ...

Advantages: Clean and warm. Very convenient location. Good value Disadvantages: A bit basic. Sofa bed in lounge.
Dublin accommodations tends to be of the very basic hostel type or quite expensive. We needed to accommodate 3 people for a few days in January but would have had to book a double and single hotel room - pricey!! However, a quick search on laterooms.com found us a great alternative. A one bedroomed appartment with a sofa bed in the lounge at a great price of only 65 Euro per night - between 3 - that's cheaper than a hostel.
Appartment was basic ... ...the bedlinen and towels fresh and clean. Plenty of space and kitchen equipped with the necessities - although a microwave might be useful if you did want to self-cater. These appartments are located a couple of minutes walk from Temple Bar, across the Liffey. Only a short walk from O'Connell Street where you can catch a bus to the airport and close to shops (Tesco and Mark & Spencer if you need groceries or there's a Spar next to the reception office). ...

Advantages: Fantaastic Views Disadvantages: Don't sleep on the sofa bed!!
Myself and six friends stayed in the Millenium Apartments for 3 nights in October this year. We had the Pent House which is an amasing apartment. Two floors, three bedrooms, kitchen/diner/lounge all in one and ok bathroom. Spacious and plenty of room. The top floor was amasing. A complete panoramic view across Dublin you could see the Liffey, Temple Bar and pretty much everything for miles! This was especially pretty at night. This would have got ... ...the apartment. One was that there was only 6 single beds. The apartment was supposed to have a sofa bed but this thing cannot be called a bed. It was the most uncomfortable thing ever, was only about 4 feet long and completely ruined a nights sleep and so let the place down - especially when we had to have three in a bed!
The other problem we faced was that the boiler had a problem and we had no hot water for two days. Not the best thing for 7 girls ...

We stayed at this lovely hotel/guest house about three weeks ago when we spent the weekend in Dublin to watch the Springboks play Ireland at Lansdowne Road. We flew into Dublin and since it was close to midnight decided to take a cab to the hotel. A cab... more
I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last few years. Its quite a way outside the main Temple-Bar area but is right by the tram stops. As the trams run very regularily getting about is easy.
The hotel is very close to Houston rail station. If you more
