Ainsley House Hotel
Review of Ainsley House Hotel, Brighton by SReilly

Advantages: Location & friendly/helpful chef.
Disadvantages: That some people are allowed to be let loose on the hotel industry.

I stayed here recently and was made to feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. I was very polite to the manager at all times but I was spoken to like a child, she was very patronising. I've never known anything like it, it was actually almost funny. We were ... Read review

Quick review of Ainsley House Hotel, Brighton
Review of Ainsley House Hotel, Brighton by Shorty100

Do not stay at this guesthouse !!!!!!!!!!! Unbelieveably rude staff , the rooms were dirty - sheets and towels were stained , carpets hadnt seen a hoover for a good few months and hotel was very shabby with paintwork peeling etc. I almost had to laugh at how rude the manageress was as it just didnt seem real that someone who is expected to deal with the general public has absolutely zero customer relation skills ...if anyone has ever seen Faulty Towers this is what you should expect if you stay at this b&b!

The Brighton Lanes ROCK.
Review of Brighton Lanes (Brighton) by marilynmonroelike

Advantages: Too many...London by the sea...cosmopolitan, diverse, shopping! Food!
Disadvantages: Can be dirty - very busy in summer with exchange students under your feet.

Having lived in Brighton for several years I can honestly say I would rather walk around the lanes on a day off work than anywhere else in the world - its just fabulous :D The small winding allys are a real curiosity shop extravaganza - jewellery shops, g ... Read review

Review of Leone Italian Restaurant and Oyster Bar, Hove, Brighton by suesie

Advantages: Unusual well cooked recipes. Reasonable prices, Good service. Luxurious ambience.
Disadvantages: Questionable Accessiblity Options. Not family focussed if this counts a disadvantage

"Dolce Vita in the Heart of Hove." This apparently is the " better known " title for "Leone Ristoranti Italiano and Oyster Bar". How and why it came by this alternative name is unclear but certainly dining there could be said to be one of life's sweeter e ... Read review

Living in Brighton, this isn't a place that we'd stay in - although we know that it is the best value hotel on the front and the position is stunning. We went to a wedding there in the summer and I found the staff a little off-hand. And yes, the car parking is a nightmare here - although it's free on Madiera Drive after 6.00pm. Richard. by RICHADA

Quick review of Royal Albion Hotel, Brighton
Review of Royal Albion Hotel, Brighton by SouthOfTheRiver

Double bed was two singles pushed together. Staff grabbed the orange juice jug from us, apparently because two glasses of orange juice was too much to expect for the (subsantial) price we had paid for breakfast. The loo overflowed on to the floor late at night. Staff comment the next morning - it was our fault as we should have rung to ask for a change of room. Nice view, though.
