Stayed in June 07 for 2 weeks and didn't want to come home. Before going to Marni we had booked Disney for 2008 but have cancelled that to go back to Marni The place is spotless, the food is great, the staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and calming. The pool areas are cleaned twice a day. The staff are always cleaning and tidying. They can cook you anything you want, at whatever time you want! The local village is 2 minutes away and is beautiful. Everyone very friendly there too. We met people there who have been going to over 10 years. I think we may well be doing that ourselves!!!

Advantages: Beautiful surroundings, and very clean
Disadvantages: Not much of a beach.

The best way to avoid the TOURISTY resorts is to avoid the PLANE & BEACH, in other words look for transfer times in excess of 90 mins. You will find the kind of resorts I feel you are looking for. Recommend MANOS and KOSMAR. Regards Steve by poshtroika

Advantages: Nice pool and small garden area. Within walking distance of village.

Gave it a generous helpful, needs more detail. I presume the Food was from the Hotel/Resort. You are far better off eating Out in Greece, far better standard., Some gripes were just how it is in Greece, The Lindian Bed (Concrete) and the shower room with water every where.
