Review of Jurys Inn Christchurch, Dublin by the_mad_cabbie

Advantages: Very centrally located, good standard 3-star hotel with reasonable prices
Disadvantages: A bit noisy if you get a front facing room

This Jury's Inn, one of three in Dublin city, is ideally located for accessing the city centre, as are all Jury's Dublin Inns) It's situated in Christchurch Place, about 5 minutes walk from the drinking dens of Temple Bar (heh, heh) and Grafton Street (th ... Read review

Great Value 3-Star Hotel
Review of Bewley's Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin by the_mad_cabbie

Advantages: Highly recommended 3-star Dublin hotel handy for the city centre
Disadvantages: Not a lot!

Bewley's Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, is arguably the best value 3-star Dublin hotel within spitting distance of the city centre. At a set price of a mere Euro109 per room per night (due to increase to Euro119 from 1st April 2008) Bewley's Ballsbridge ... Read review

The one time I was in Dublin we stayed round the corner (or down the road) from here - it was very easy to get in and out of the city centre by public transport. Was quite jealous because this looked much nicer than our hotel. Love black pudding salad too ;-) Good review, Caroline xx by carcraig

Handy For A Flying Visit
Review of Bewley's Airport Hotel, Dublin by the_mad_cabbie

Advantages: Good value 3-star hotel very convenient for Dublin Airport.
Disadvantages: A wee bit out in the boondocks.

Bewley's Airport Hotel is one of four Bewley's Hotels in Dublin city. Like all three of their other hotels it offers exceptional value for money for a fairly up-market 3-star hotel. The beauty of this particular Bewley's hotel is that it is very conven ... Read review

Quick review of Jacobs Ladder, Dublin
Review of Jacobs Ladder, Dublin by Szepietowski

"Never has so much been written by so few about so little". This restaurant is a disaster. The lack of diners and the unpleasant smell that hits you as you walk up the stairs should have been enough to make me turn away. The food was tastless and bland, the place lacks atmosphere, and the place needs a makeover. Go if you wish but at your own peril.

DO NOT Stay at the Temple Bar Loft Apartment
Review of stayDublin Apartments, Dublin by CompanionTravel

Advantages: location
Disadvantages: everything other than location

Don't be fooled by the pictures of the Temple Bar loft apartment, I stayed 22/02/08 to 25/02/08. This place is a disgrace. Almost 900 Euro for 3 nights in such a run down dump is a complete rip off. Boiler was leaking and tripping off continuously. We rep ... Read review
