Quick review of Hotel De Goezeput, Bruges
Review of Hotel De Goezeput, Bruges by saver275

A charming little hotel in one of the many cobbled back streets in Bruges. Only 10 minutes walk from the station and a further 5 minutes to the Market Place in the town centre. Our room wasn't the lovely timbered one one the website (this was being decorated), but ours was clean and very spacious with a double bed, single bed, sofa and a couple of armchairs in front of a stone fireplace. The very tradtional entrance hall with it's lovely wooden staircase is a complete contrast to the modern loune/bar alongside where a generous buffet breakfast is served. Bruges is a compact town so any old-town hotel is close to all the sights so do yourself a favour and pick one with character like this one!

Review of Hotel De Tuilerieen, Bruges by suelr13

Advantages: Small intimate hotel, large room, robes and slippers, great breakfast.
Disadvantages: Very small lounge area

The Hotel De Tuilerieen is very conveniently situated by the river and close to the main tourist areas of Bruge so you are able to walk to all the sites. We fell in love with this hotel-its quite small but our room was large with two double beds and trad ... Read review

A nice review, although I would have liked a bit more information on cost for instance. Although Brugge is fine, there are so many other places in Flanders I would rather visit, (like Gent, Antwerp, Lier, Mechelen) but I shall try to bear this hotel in mind if need arises. Adam by lobourse

Oh, how splendid. My trip to Bruges was in my poverty-days & I stayed in the youth hostel! But I would have loved this. The service level is what I’d expect of the Belgians…I found them always to be friendly and helpful. Clearly not a seasoned traveller though – the tea-making facility is a specifically English innovation. Buy yourself a travel-element (so you can heat up one cup of water at a time) & carry your own teabags! The Euro-community seem to be banding together on the ‘oh forget the cents’ idea…I’ve come across that elsewhere (sadly can’t see it catching on here though). Next time I go back to Bruges, I’m definitely going to check this one out. Lx by hiker

Advantages: A good small and friendly hotel with excellent service. Great location too!
Disadvantages: Steep (very) stairs to bedrooms.

Quick review of Hans Memling Hotel, Bruges
Review of Hans Memling Hotel, Bruges by BluePhil

My wife and I stayed at the Hans Memling in December 2006 and were a bit disappointed. The hotel is on a side street just off the main Markt Square which means that it's very convenient, but the interior is dated and a bit murky, with creaking floorboards in the rooms, a narrow, steep, dark staircase and a tiny, rattly lift. The buffet breakfast is reasonable, the staff are fairly pleasant, but there are much better hotels in the area. Not recommended by me.

A charming but slightly crazy hotel
Review of Hotel Rembrandt-Rubens, Bruges by rosemary040258

Advantages: Very charming location. Fronts on a tiny plaza, backs on the canal
Disadvantages: It operated more like a hostel in that the entry hours were limited.

If you like to stay in unusual hotels this is the place for you. It is an old converted home like so many others in Bruges but it is filled with church related art and furniture. The narrow hallways creaked and groaned but it was quiet for sleeping. The ... Read review
