I like zoos where the emphasis is on education and conservation (like Edinburgh, Chester or Budapest zoos for example). However, others where the animals don't seem to be the top priority - as it sounds like here - just upset me. I found London zoo to be quite depressing when I visited. I don't think I would enjoy this one, either. by Collingwood21

I wouldn't mind a nice holiday anywhere other than Scotland at the moment but sadly my student loan will not stretch as far as the famous Alps........I've always fancied a bit of Apres Ski myself lol (not sure about the actual skiing I'd probably break a few bones) by missy0303

Great for a City Break

Advantages: it's peaceful
Disadvantages: some people think it's not exciting enough (nightlife etc.)

Bern must be one of the best kept secrets in Europe when it comes to selecting a destination for a city break. Transferring from Zurich Airport was simplicity itself, as the airport station has a direct,express service to Bern which takes about 75 mins.E ... Read review
