That's disgraceful - being treated like a second class citizen because you have booked through a discount site. If they're so bl**dy precious about their hotel, they should only let the rooms at full rack rate.....and hear the echoes around ther hallowed corridors. Richard. by RICHADA

I had a similarly awful experience at the Radisson at Charles de Gaulle airport, where they (on their own admission) forgot to give me the early morning wake-up call I had ordered, resulting in my missing my flight. The views are ok and rooms decent enough to sleep in. However, the furniture in the rooms is a million years old, and during our stay a table actually collapsed while we were out. The hotel staff then demanded repayment for the table and when we refused - as we hadn't touched it - they blackmailed us (our bags were conveniently in their safekeeping). In the end we had to choose: whether to pay for the table or an extra night (now we had also checked out too late?!) The stay at Torre Eiffel completely ruined our time in Acapulco!

Advantages: Impressive collection and very cheap to get in.
Disadvantages: None unless you don't like art!
