The "City-Of-Golden-Friendship" and it is. People were so polite and nice. I stayed in a few hotels while I was there. First time was the LeMarr Inn. I would recommend it for one night, but that is all. It's decor is old and you have to climb a m ... Read review

Advantages: Helpful and friendly staff.
Disadvantages: Airport tax, Phonecards and Taxi Drivers

Been twice and really don't like it. First time I arrived in Centenial Terminal and was impressed. I flew in on Phil Air. Was greeted by helpful staff, although I had to call my wife to find out where she was. I had to buy a phonecard. Luckily I had ... Read review

See Negros for yourself!
Review of General: Negros (The Philippines) by tee-chan

Advantages: hospitality, simplicity--the humbleness.
Disadvantages: some people might find this place too rural

Well, Negros (Occidental and Oriental) is about the best place to be in if you're in this country. For one, the humble city of Bacolod is found in this place, the city I might point, is the home of the famous Masskara festival and, of course, the forever ... Read review

Quick review of Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Metro Manila Philippines (NAIA)
Review of Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Metro Manila Philippines (NAIA) by Palpak

why on earth is there no bus shuttle or pedestrian walk between Naia and the domestic airport? This is the only airport in the whole world that has this inconvenience? Is this unthinkable? why are all Naia passengers subjected to the hardship/difficulty/suffering/pain of checking out incl their baggages, going out of naia terminal and making it to the domestic airport at their own risk with public transport ?Havent the great/smart Filipino management of these airports finally thought of bus rides, convenience?

ok review, but could do with padding out. by fryera2
hi welcome to ciao, sorry for rating so low, compared to the others, but i regularly travel through this airport and pretty much everything that you said was inacurate, security checks are easily by passed with a small bribe and a lot of the time they are not really checking, due to the poor economy of the country they create jobs for people to do so that they can at least get paid - security is not secure in the least, infact it is extreamly poor, secondly you can gain access without a valid boarding ticket, when we fly from here my dad just takes an old one with him, nobody actually ever checks, for a small fee (about £10) you can even meet someone coming off a plane....secondly they did not run out of money when they were building the new airport, there was a "conflict of interests" between the government and the contractors and the contractors held the place to ransom - having just opened the new airport, it is now being closed down, due to structure, i believe that the contractors actually sabotaged the building so that the roof would fall in - to be honest I am not even convinced that you have been to this airport - sorry! by tazzywazzy
