Pokhara: A Means to an End?
Review of Pokhara (Nepal) by
salar15
Advantages: Spectacular scenery and a wealth of opportunities for outdoor pursuits.
Disadvantages: Not great if you are not into outdoor pursuits. Leeches.
There's no doubting that Pokhara is a pretty spectacular place to be. With the jawdroppingly majesterial Annapurna mountain range rearing over Lake Phewa, some of the views you'll experience in the right conditions are simply indescribable; if you were t ...

Quick review of Rum Doodle, Kathmandu
Review of Rum Doodle, Kathmandu by
Gina14K
Rum Doodle is one place in Kathmandu which is very close to my heart. To a regular tourist, a must-visit place. The food is good (the chicken/mushroom baskets and the cheesecake - absolutely awesome!), the ambience great and the staff is very friendly and courteous.
The team behind Rum Doodle is amazingly marketing savvy and with a savvy and happening name like Rum Doodle, they surely have a winner on their hands.
