Outspan in Israel
Review of Eilat (Israel) by lynlewjustjay

Advantages: relaxing, friendly, clean, lots to do
Disadvantages: long flight, guns in view, airport politics

We went to Eilat for our honeymoon in March 2006. I was 7 months pregnant at the time so knew I would be limited to do all activities, but this wouldn't stop my husband. I found booking the holiday hard as their are only a few operators that go to Isr ... Read review

I spent a fortnight in Eilat in 1996, and it’s not a place I’d ever want to go back to! I found there was very little to do there. It was incredibly expensive and most of the locals were rather unfriendly. I found the airport security rather oppressive too - both inbound and outbound. Lexy by Bollinger28
great review. i used to live about 30 mins north of eilat, and go back regularly... it is developing at such a quick rate and gets better and better each year. love the fact that you feel completely safe there and would reccommend it to everyone. by Funzo

Tel Aviv Vive*
Review of Tel-Aviv (Israel) by MALU

Advantages: not on the tourist route
Disadvantages: pretty façade, partly ugly backyard

The idea of visiting Israel had been with us for quite some time but somehow it had never become reality, the news we received from the media did nothing to actually lure us to the country. But then I read in a review of an online friend who should know a ... Read review

I don't think you've seen the best Tel Aviv has to offer here. The artist's area behind Yafo that you were trying to get to has been considerably gentrified with buildings valued in the millions of dollars. There are still one or two decrept looking wrecks but the value of this property, so close to the Med, is rocketing and the surrounding community is starting to reflect that. While Tel Aviv is a wholly secular city, it's a pity that you were there at a time when there was less hustle and bustle than normal. by danielse

A glimpse of the real state
Review of Eretz Israel Museum Complex (Haaretz Museum), Tel Aviv by Rogerbyname

Advantages: It's an eye-opener
Disadvantages: It's not very glamorous

The Eretz (literally meaning "The Land") museum is a monument to the continuing struggle experienced by past and present Israelis in establishing the Promised Land. There are numerous archive photographs, artefacts and displays which capture something of ... Read review

Excellent reviw. A city I love for its architecture, people and food. I was there during the Intifada, and despite all the associated problems at that time I had a trouble free and unforgettable experience. Hope one day they find some semblance of normality. For all concerned. by Jarrac

as below, more info needed for better ratings, but still a good first review staz x by x-staz-x
Quite a promising start, Sorry for the low rating, but I think that your Review needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. Hotel reviews need lots of info from cost, to detail about your room, to food (quality, quantity and price) customer service etc . You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. If I can be of any help or if you decide to amend your review feel free to put a note in my gb, I’ll be happy to re-read and re-rate. Rich by RichPrice

Advantages: Bahai, Carmelite, Cable-Car and more
Disadvantages: Not terribly touristy (which could be an advantage), not all that much to see
