SNOW GUARANTEE
Schladming give a 'guarantee' for snow to their guests, because they did install quite a number of those modern snowing machines along all the main runs on those four mountains, so that even in times with less natural snow (like this season), there is always enough snow to ski.
Or course, there are certain limitation depending on the temperature (these snowing machines will not work at temperatures of more than +8 degrees celcius).
There are 160 km of skiing runs in the area, so this is plenty of space, and you don't have to go the same route every day, it will never get boaring.
For those of you who really are Ciao addicts, there is a Webcafe on the top of the Planai mountain, where you can actually surf the internet ...

Advantages: quick and cheap way to connect on the web Disadvantages: lack of privacy/no customer service
aspects :
- Should you need to go to the loo, I guess you'll have to ask for a key because it's always locked.
- Hold firmly to your handbag/bags as nasty neds love to pay a visit here to shop around...
- As I said earlier, Easy Everything has become a faceless, tasteless self-service webcafé (even their bright orange colour now seems gloomy).
- The shop has been divided in two. The right part is a café and is apparently independent from the web area itself. Despite this the only food and drink you're allowed to have must come from that café. Another pain in the bottom is the smoke coming from it. Choose a seat near the doors if you can't stand it...
- It's no longer open 24/7 (alright we used to crash there waiting for the first train after clubbing...But who decided to shut the clubs at 3 O'clock in the morning ? Not me anyway ...

The contrast between the middle air-conditioned of the hotel and the outside was here surprising at the exit , impression to choke by the temperature and pollution, 37 degrees even the night.
When i arrived in Vietnam and during one week I suffered from light irritations throat and nose due to this pollution, then one gets habit after.Human body is fantastic to adapt the nuisances.
Passing most of the time in the evening at work ,when i was coming back home toward 21h I hurried before its closing in a webcafé at the bottom of our hotel, and via Yahoo contacted my close relations.
In Vietnam personal computers are not a lot, the whole youth takes assault these web coffee and those are here numerous in city.
Contacts even telephonic are cheaper ...
