The Wern Fawr Inn is a warm and comfortable Inn based in the upper part of the Swansea Valley in the village of Ystalyfera. Will and Sandra Hopton the licencees have managed the Inn for some twenty years and have built a reputation for a warm and friendly welcome for regular customers and visitors alike.The Bryncelyn Brewery started in April of 1999 and is the only brewery in the area and producing a fine selection of ales in the best brewing tradition. Production is in demand and has trebled in the last six months or so owing to the demand of this quality beer. All the ales that are produced are named after the owners hero BUDDY HOLLY,with names such as OH BOY,RAVE ON and my own personal favorite BUDDY,S DELIGHT.If you are anywhere near SWANSEA please try to visit this unique inn/brewary.
